our application process will help you along the way:

1. Eligibility

It is important that we share foundational beliefs if we are to journey together.

To best help our participants navigate life’s difficult transitions, and find their God-given talents and purpose, we integrate our Christ-centered biblical worldview into everything we offer. This enables participants to measure their life journey against the plumb-line of the word of God and respond accordingly.

Because the Bible is our foundation and pattern for living all of life, we have an opening question on our application that has to do with our Statement of Faith. It’s a fair question and quite normal. We want to know if an applicant subscribes to what we believe.

We believe in:

  1. The one true God who eternally exists as three persons — the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
  2. The love, grace and sovereignty of God in creating, sustaining, ruling, redeeming and judging the world.
  3. The divine inspiration and supreme authority of the Old and New Testament Scriptures, which are the written Word of God—fully trustworthy for faith and conduct.
  4. The dignity of all people, made male and female in God’s image to love, be holy and care for creation, yet corrupted by sin, which incurs divine wrath and judgment.
  5. The incarnation of God’s eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ — born of the virgin Mary; truly divine and truly human, yet without sin.
  6. The atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, so reconciling us with God.
  7. The bodily resurrection of Christ, the first fruits of our resurrection; his ascension to the Father, and his reign and mediation as the only Savior of the world.
  8. The justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ.
  9. The ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness.
  10. The Church, the body of Christ both local and universal, the priesthood of all believers — given life by the Spirit and endowed with the Spirit’s gifts to worship God and proclaim the gospel, promoting justice and love.
  11. The personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to fulfill the purposes of God, who will raise all people to judgment, bring eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation to the lost, and establish a new heaven and new earth.

To enroll in what we offer, you must first meet this initial eligibility requirement by indicating that you agree with and support our doctrinal distinctives as noted in our Statement of Faith.

2. Application

Help us get to know you and share your hopes of how Mission Lyfe might serve you!

Oftentimes, friends and those we have previously facilitated suggest a person reach out to us. All referals are required to complete our online application form. If you know what your need is and have a sense of where you’re headed in life, this is a relatively straightforward process.

The form includes:

  • some very basic personal information
  • an acknowledgment that you have read our Statement of Faith and that you subscribe to what we believe
  • a few specifics  regarding your current work and/or ministry experience
  • a personal testimony of your Christian faith walk, and
  • a personal disclosure of the particular need motivating your to contact Mission Lyfe

Submitting your form will help speed up the application process and enable us to get to know you a little before we contact you.

3. Review Process

Our review process is an important final step toward ensuring that we focus on what options might serve you best.

After receiving and processing your online application, we will arrange for a more in-depth conversation by phone, Skype/Zoom or in person. We love coming alongside and personally talking with applicants who desire to invest in their lives and ministry by way of debriefing, pre-field training, or next steps life planning. Our conversation will dig deeper into where you are at with your walk and talk with God, and where you want to go with your life and vocation/ministry. Offering you opportunity to ask any clarifying questions is also a priority at this time. We want to ensure that each applicant is in the right heart and mind space and that the timing is right for their proposed Mission Lyfe program. Based on the perspective we glean together, we’ll talk about what options might serve you best.

4. Success

You will be welcomed into a thriving transformational environment.

Assuming we have discerned a green light for your readiness for engaging in a Mission Lyfe program, you will receive, via e-mail, a calendar of pre-session assignments and their corresponding worksheets. This pre-work will help you begin to prepare your heart and mind so that we “hit the ground running” when we meet together.

Whether meeting in person or on-line, our commitment is to ensure that you receive the best personalized equipping, pastoral care and support. Our hope and desire is that your soul would be nourished and revived. Seeing you beginning to thrive as you express a renewed sense of purpose and meaning, in the midst of your life transitions, challenges and unavoidable losses, is our goal.
